My illnesses have finally gotten the proper diagnosis. It has been my GERD the whole time.
I will see my primary care physician next Friday to get a referral to a GERD specialist. None of the medications are working. Thanks to that one doctor whom messed up my medication for acid reflux for me. He sent a different form of the Ranitidine, and for 4 weeks I've been sick because he messed up. I've lost weight from not being able to eat much. Today I was too nauseous to eat much before work. They sent me a different med. I guess another issue will arise while taking that one. This doctor that messed up, wasn't even MY doctor. He wrote my refill and messed it all up! I have barely any energy in the beginning of the day. Also I'm tired a lot and very dehydrated. I'm drinking a lot of water and Powerade.
When I called asking for the doctor's name, they said, "Sometimes the tablets or Ranitidine aren't available." Yeah right. My doctor had immediately put me back on the tablets after his mess up.They were available! Excuses! That was 3 weeks ago. I hope the specialist can give me a medication that will work? I just want to be healthy. I wonder how many other patient's medications he's messed up?

So far it's a waiting game to see the dr. I have a nausea pill I can take every 6 hrs, before I eat.

@Palindromeman My Propel water tastes weird. I tried 4 different boxes of the packets. They all taste funky. I tried other drinks and they taste normal. I opened a box I got 3 weeks ago, and the ones I got last night. They all can't be bad. Must be my taste buds.
@Sarahroo29 But you are hanging in there, which is the most important thing. A number of weeks ago I had a constipation issue. Which was excruciating. Then I used laxatives. You can probably guess what happened after that. It was not pretty.

Hopefully not too much longer. I'm scared to find out the symptoms I'll have with this other med. If there are any?

I'm not.
I'll get sick off the new med they sent for tonight as well. Until I get to the specialists, in a few weeks, I'll still be sick.
