Far right groups gathered Sunday in Portland for an event they called the “Summer of Love,” even as the rally date was chosen to commemorate an extraordinarily violent clash last summer in the city. The event ended with a roving brawl along busy city streets in the Parkrose neighborhood, and shots being fired in downtown Portland. No one was reported injured in the shooting incident

This is how the far right is trying to start a civil war. Local police, unless they are a part of it, need to shut it down at the first sign of trouble, wherever it erupts.

IDK. Possibly gun fire allows for a response and we can get on with addressing their complaints through that method. Since most of the nation thinks they are whacked it might not be a very prolonged way to shut them up?
