He is basically an educated, military veteran, and much more dangerous version of Trump. This guy is way more capable of destroying democracy than Trump ever was.

Yeah, the best thing about Trump was his incompetence. He didn't really know how government worked and so the courts kept slapping him back down.
DeSantis could end democracy of fuck things up so badly that we may never recover.
