Old King Cole was a merry old soul
And a merry old soul was he
He called for a trillion Shakespeare's to type for all the tomorrows
And he called for his fiddlers three

He called for his pipe but can you remember the other thing he called for?

No... Facebook is not the problem. Racism, bigotry, misogyny, poor public education, insufficient access to mental healthcare, religion in schools and government, wealth inequality, gun violence... these are what is wrong with America.

Facebook could shut down tomorrow and America would still be the same.

Once to get a platform and influence public opinion, you had to prove yourself to trained editors and fellow journalists. Now you only have to impress a robot, which has been programed to get as many people as it can.

Of course it is. The stupid are everywhere and always have been, but now they can reach each other and feed each others ridiculous, based on nothing, fears and organize. I don't know how we can fix this.

All social media is what's wrong. Along with Fox and the like.

And this site, too?

@Umbrella_Guard Good to know.
