LINK Idaho plans to bill MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell for election audits - Axios

Idaho Chief Deputy Secretary of State Chad Houck announced Thursday the state plans to bill MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell for the cost of auditing three counties to disprove allegations of election fraud, the Idaho Statesman reports.

Why it matters: Houck's remarks come days after the audit concluded, reporting a 0.1% margin of error across the three counties.

Any of these audits that are being done after the fact of the election should be paid for by the persons hoping to benefit by the audits. Taxpayers should not be paying for this.

Lindell might not have to pay.

Idaho election law says a losing candidate can request a recount, and the government pays for the recount if the original count was wrong. Source: ballotpedia.org.

Lindell was not a candidate, so who in the state government ordered the recount?

Why don't you Google it yourself? Takes about two minutes. The answer: the Republican Secretary of State ordered it, because doofus Trumpers caused an uproar. Incidentally, the "losing candidate" was Joe Biden, who actually picked up a few votes, but of course not enough to win.
So, I don't know what your point was, but it's null and void in any case.
By the way, good luck getting Lindell to pay a dime.

At least some people in that state have some sense and wish more them would get vacinated.
