According to the EID report, human H5N6 infections have a 67% mortality rate. The WHO has confirmed that, among the 21 infected individuals in China, most came into contact with poultry, and there have been no confirmed cases of human-to-human transmission, Reuters reported. It's hardly a pandemic yet, but it's extremely deadly.

I've been thinking lately that COVID might have been only a dress rehearsal. I've been wanting to re-read Laurie Garrett's "The Coming Plague " for some time now. She got so much right. She did not, however, factor in the Trumplican complications.
