Buddhism is an atheistic religion. They don't worship any deities, although the Buddha is highly revered - even worshipped - it is as a highly evolved and enlightened human being

Which ever way you want to align them !

With buddhism, and many other eastern mythologies, god is a symbol, not a fact as in the christian tradition. Has more in common with the one will or nature in all things. All things are buddah things. Enlightenment in the realization that we are the energy. We are the will that creates and destroys all things. Total consciousness. Just my take on it.

generally buddhism has no deity. but in Thailand and a couple of other places the buddhists believe in some lesser gods and of course the vedic hindus have a whole assortment of deities.
