I am not republican. I am a democrat, although I think that democrats are not progressive/liberal enough.
I agree that Trump pissed China off, and a part of their attitude, and vowed retaliation, is anger over how often Trump insulted them. However the rest is about the human rights issue of the Chinese tennis star who accused a government official of sexual assault and then suddenly disappeared for several weeks, and even up to now her communications are totally controlled.
