I read with interest and admiration the letter Laura Sagan's letter about the life she shared with her late hour and, astronomer Carl Sagan.
It got me, for some reason, thinking of the death in 1963 of another famous man, Aldous Huxley.
I'd heard a long time ago that Huxley took LSD on his deathbed, so I looked it up. Sure enough, HIS wife, and his son, wrote about her husband passing, describing how she administered it to him, at his request.
In the unlikely event any of you are with me when my time comes, please, if at all possible, make sure you're in possession of some on your person!
To go out on a monster acid trip would be perfection itself.
