Hawaii might the only state with a vaccine or negative test mandate in place currently. Our state leaders are discussing whether to up the vaccine mandate portion to boosted and/or fully vaccinated within x number of days prior to travel into the state.

We are also considering options such as rapid testing for each arrival into the state.

We definitely need to do something to stop the virus from continuing to come in. We are currently at a 12% positivity rate of all those being tested for various reasons. We get a lot of community spread after travel, as residents have a hard time keeping distance from loved ones they haven't seen in months, returning from school, or visiting for the holidays.

Should have done so as soon as vaccines were available. Including buses, trains, and public transit.
