Read it again, it is a very biased article. The graph has nothing to do with the story. Note that it states "with covid" not "from covid".
The CDC study quoted is a bit of a joke. Data collected between July and December, 6 months max, and no group sample sized mentioned. And what do they conclude? That children should have a covid vax to "perhaps" protect against a very rare condition MIS-C?
This article is a sales pitch to encourage vaccination of children. With the child that is the topic of the article being too young to get a jab anyway, plus the small fact they recovered.
I agree there is nothing worse than a sick kid when you are a parent. This article uses that fear which is the norm for the ABC in Australia now.
