I've always thought comparative religion classes would do the same thing.

Religious leaders know this therefore they're fighting tooth and toenail to keep their place. To a certain extent the statement that there is no decline in morals is up for debate especially since the lack of religion changes standards of behavior in many ways. Definitely in ways that I agree with but not in ways many religions would agree with.

Religion teaches immorality and/or brainwashes people into beliefs that promote immoral behavior(slavery, bigotry, violence, genocide).

Of course, it's strange how people think religion is moral.

Those who "pick and choose" the parts they want to believe, are the ones that fool themselves into believing their religion is moral.
