It should come as no surprise to hear GQP anti-vaxxers compare the inconvenience of vaccination with the Holocaust. They still use the word Holocaust in reference to abortion. That is more than ironic given the GQP's fondness for Nazi values and practices (The Big Lie, dog whistles, and overt bigotry and murder) . That being said, this is an informative article.

I find both times (then and now) to be very bizarre yet also cyclical. The article is right in its speculation of human ability to gradually become monsters. History mostly serves to give us a preview of what, apparently, must be. It's always hardest on those who are living as the dead no longer pay attention. They're fine with anything. I would actually have preferred to the gas to the camps. Nice that those were thought of as "humane" ways to kill.
