Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.The seasonality of it was perhaps though always a factor, some of the survivors like bees for example had to be in hibernation at the time of impact, since if you depended on flowers for food, you would not have lasted long otherwise. And it had to be winter in at least one hemisphere.
