This IS different, but to their source of contention? I went by my mother's husband's last name for 11 years of school. He didn't adopt me and they were only married for two years. My last name was not legally his last name. No one gave a shit what my last name was, no one checked my gender or my birth certificate.

My vaccine card? That mattered. Which is exactly why all these anti-vaccine folks are raging hypocrites. Anyone older than a Vegan-raised Millennial has a vaccine card. It was how you got into school to learn lies about slavery and the whitewashing of America. You know! When America was great!!
