LINK Guns surpass crashes as leading cause of death among U.S. children

(More guns hasn't made us safer. It only has increased deaths.)

Guns have surpassed road crashes as the leading cause of death among U.S. children and teens.

Gun-related deaths rose 29% among 1- to 19-year-olds from 2019 to 2020, according to a new University of Michigan study. In all, there were more than 4,300 gun-related deaths -- including suicides, homicides and accidents -- in that age group in 2020.

There's almost zero chance that this will improve. The pro-gun people of this country care more for their pistols and rifles and how many they can have than they do about the lives of people. And when there's more guns than people in the country it becomes impossible to keep track of them all. Anytime a politician or anti-gun advocate even whispers a word of gun regulation the gun worshippers go batshit crazy and scream "They're coming for our guns!".
