The Old Person Card
I let my hair grow out to it's mostly gray. Today I got pulled over for speeding and he had me for 60 in a 40 zone (100 in a 65 in KPH). Oops. Told the cop it was the only car I could find with a manual gear box, that I had never owned anything that fast, and that I was still getting used to it which is all true. The ticket would have been $250 and he let me go with just a verbal warning. Woo Hoo!

Florida! I was in grad school at FSU with a teacher there for summer school in 1961. She and a guy also there for the summer raced west one day and a trooper stopped the pair. He got a ticket; she got a “Take it easy.” BTW, she and I started a square dance group that summer.
