Oh, I dunno, French peasants did okay.....

Not really, the first revolution of 1789 was lead by a cartel of statesmen and lawyers who caused a flourishing of poverty and mal treatment which they blamed on the monarchy in order to manipulate the people in to rebelling. After six years of the so called Reign of Terror came to an end with the second revolution, after Robespierre himself was executed by his own confederates. The monarchy was restored and ruled as a puppet figurehead until the third revolution of 1848 ousted them again and an oligarchy mascaraing as a republic seized power, that in one form or another lasted until 1958 and the establishment of the 5th republic.

  1. I think guillotines are cool, and eco-friendly too.
    2.no major upheavals are without horrors, hardship, & major mistakes...it takes easily 50-100 years for the dust to properly settle, so in the lng run they did okay....

America's ruling class, via schoolboards, has denied and will continue to deny schoolchildren that education.

Conservatives and moderates on schoolboards will outnumber liberals and progressives.

Writers such as Howard Zinn and James Loewen have educated and will educate us.

We will be called radicals and socialists and yet occasionally find allies among the moderates.
