American egg on faces of sycophantic media who followed & repeated the propaganda ad nauseum to convince themselves of American stupidity¹ regarding Ukraine & American intentions to harm Russia. Meanwhile China quietly & benignly smile on continuing to promote their "belt & road" programme of goodwill & mutual benefit.

"the sanctions have actually raised the price of Russian exports such as oil and grain – thus enriching, rather than impoverishing, Moscow while leaving Europeans short of gas and Africans running out of food. "

And

"The collective West’s failure to break Russia was apparent even to The Economist, not exactly a publication sympathetic to Moscow. The newspaper reluctantly admitted a month ago that the Russian economy had bounced back from the initial sanctions shock. Meanwhile, it’s the West that has to deal with energy shortages, spiraling costs of living, and record inflation. It’s Americans, not Russians, who can’t find baby formula in stores and can’t afford gas."

As sanctions fail and Russia advances, Western media changes its tune on Ukraine [rt.com]

Stupid(ity)¹ [en.m.wikipedia.org]

These are Cipolla's five fundamental laws of stupidity:

  1. Always and inevitably everyone underestimates the number of stupid individuals in circulation.
  2. The probability that a certain person (will) be stupid is independent of any other characteristic of that person.
  3. A stupid person is a person who causes losses to another person or to a group of persons while himself deriving no gain and even possibly incurring losses.
  4. Non-stupid people always underestimate the damaging power of stupid individuals. In particular non-stupid people constantly forget that at all times and places and under any circumstances to deal and/or associate with stupid people always turns out to be a costly mistake.
  5. A stupid person is the most dangerous type of person.

Corollary: a stupid person is more dangerous than a pillager.

Where are all of those positive responses to your crap you spoke of? Or is that statement just more crap?

Are you posting in the correct thread Walt? I see no comment by me mentioning positive responses & certainly none calling my erudition "crap".
Try putting your spectacles on & if they are already in place try taking your red pill.
