LINK Mike Pence is no hero. The Jan. 6 hearings should outline as much.

Only when he was faced with a task that fell outside of the rules that he had accepted as valid — and would result in personal consequences if he broke them — did he refuse Trump.

Mike Pence was quite prepared to overturn the will of the people if he could find a legal way to do it, this to appease the Tangerine Turd. That should never be forgotten.

Yes, it sure seems like he was seriously considering if he could go along with the crime without any consequences to himself, with no thought about majority vote, the will of people in the majority who cast their vote for the competition, and of course his oath to the constitution.

Not sure what he expected to happen when he hitched his career as the running mate of a lawless, ruthless, tasteless candidate. Just because he decided at the last minute to do the "right thing" doesn't mean he wasn't intending to do the wrong thing if it would help his career.
