The people who stuffed the victims into the trailer of an 18 wheeler we not interested in keeping them for indenture, they were only interested in the fee the victims would pay them to be transported away from the border.
How could you possibly conflate the two?

@barjoe There have been Senators and members of the House that have been invested in Companies overseas that have supported slavery and prostitution. They were known by the rest of the Senate and House and they were also supported by their churches.
@dalefvictor Are all those senators and congressmen Republicans and moderate Democrats? So you think any of them pretend to be liberal Democrats? You are talking about investments in China and other places with slave labor. Did you ever buy a pair of Nikes? No? Well, you bought something else that was made by slave labor. The news story on this post is about organized crime who pay border patrol to let these trucks in. There were over 100 people on that truck and they each paid mid 4 figures for this death trip.
