I'm glad these politicians are having to go on record opposing marriage equality between genders and races. It will only serve to get them eliminated in the next round of elections. Hopefully this gamble pays off to wake up the voters.

These days, most voters know and love someone who is gay or in a mixed race relationship. I would hope a hard stance against one of those rights would negatively impact those candidates.

I think it's funny that it was Thomas who suggested the overturn of Same Sex Marriage -- but I wonder if he's kicking himself now that it's coupled with Inter-racial marriage. Yes, what is to come of current marriages and children born of inter-racial couples.

My Caucasian daughter married into a Chinese family. My grandchildren celebrate both cultures.

If these politicians don't want to be in a same sex or inter-racial marriage, then they have the right not to -- but they have no right to withhold the pursuit of happiness of others who find happiness in such marriages.

What will happen? Perhaps contraception will be banned for all couples except inter-racial -- just kidding - but nothing would surprise me!
