I still think people express ideologies they have been exposed to and became normalized to them. Do people's brain scans change after they become radicalized? How about former conservatives who become enlightened. Do their brain scans change?

I have read of similar studies before on the brain and political ideology. Those studies found clear differences in how the brains of people reacted differently to particular stimuli, depending on their ideology. Those studies were mainly targetted at how liberals and conservative process different types of messaging differently from each other, such emotionally-based messaging versus ones that are more intellectually based, etc.
