I received my smallpox vaccination many many years before 1972 so I imagine it is useless against monkeypox. [wcnc.com]

I don't touch anyone so have no worry about the monkey's pox.

From what l have read, that would be true. My understanding is they are working on a vaccine.

It may provide some protection. I got mine in 1958. Older people used to have huge vaccination scars mine is Invisible at this point.
