I'd disagree. I'm not saying that the performers on Sullivan's show weren't talented but rather I disagree that talent can't be found today. I'll assume you're referring to music talent.

If you simply don't like today's music, that's fine. Nothing says that you have to like it but casually dismissing thousands and thousands of singers and bands based on a limited knowledge of these artists is grossly unfair and narrow minded.

I'm 50 years old and I primarily listen to modern rock music. I search for new music on a regular basis and am frequently finding modern singers and bands that I've never heard of that are really amazing.

The "Musical" feces that SNL rolls out week after week is all I need to know.
Pop music was seldom more than pleasant noise....now it's an utter cesspool.

What they define as talent these days can’t compare or come close to the wide rage of entertainers that appeared weekly on the Ed Sullivan show .Always watched it and enjoyed it with my parents on Sunday night.
