Trolling "social groups"?

I've seen some posts lately that brought this question to mind. I've also read comments on FB when posts for "Agnostics.com" have come up. There are often hundreds of comments and a big percentage are from believers who either proselytize in the comment or condemn anyone who would consider joining. Made me wonder how non-believers respond when they see FB (or other) posts for faith based dating or social sites.

I don't think nonbelievers are as threatened by believers as believers feel threatened by nonbelievers. The believers know that a lot of what they believe doesn't really make sense, so of course they feel threatened.

I remove ads I don't like seeing but I am a member of a religious discussion group on FB. It usually amounts to muslims asking why everyone picks on islam and christians making the same tired arguments and asking atheists to disprove god. Oh and the occasional creationist that asks why if we came from monkeys why are there still monkeys. Those are the fun ones because then we get some of the religious people on our side.

I go in and post HAIL SATAN!

Or post my meme Jesus twerks in mysterious ways.....

Yeah lots of all caps comments in return.

So, how threatened by us non-believers must believers be to feel compelled to line up to post comments about how we will burn in hell if we don't turn around. The mere sight of an innocuous little post telling people there is a place for the non-believer to meet others who think like them is enough to spur them into action. What if it came right out and said there is no God? Would they lose their minds? Would they demand the site be banned from posting ads altogether? Just wondering.

Option #4: Hide the advertiser so I'll never see anything from them again.

I ignore the ads if they show up.
. FB I treat as my site - any posting of religious nature gets that person "unfriended" regardless who they are.
"Friend" requests I check their profile for religious nonsense and reject offer if I see any. Again, regardless who they are.

I have removed as much religious content from my FB page that I can without deleting some people that are good friends of mine.

I don’t give them a second thought and have never ever thought of making a comment on one.

Don't even give it much thought. Just keep scrolling.
