An old favourite was unexpectedly offered & I simply cannot resist sharing it. Was Ronald Searle influential in your life?

A brief history on the man who despite being a POW of the Japanese at Kwai did not lose his sense of humour.

Who didn't enjoy the girls of St Trinians - @Petter, @Austin-Cambridge, @Fernapple, @LenHazell53, @273Kelvin, @rogerbenham?

I remember him, didn’t know that he was a POW though.

Excellent cartoonist.

Searle was wonderful, I read the Molesworth books over and over when I was a boy, hilarious.

Every so often humanity is fortunate to have people like Searle in their midst.
Their worth far exceeds that of all politicians.
