LINK Jeff Beck, Guitar Virtuoso and Blues-Rock Innovator, Dead at 78 – Rolling Stone

This makes me very sad. I had the privilege of seeking him live at an intimate venue called Keswick Theater a few years back. He's was the greatest rock guitarist ever imo.

Thankfully there are new guitar icons to hear. He was great but 78 and it happens. So it goes.

We lost another IKON. He gave us many GREAT years. This is a sad day.

I had a guitarist boyfriend in high school who idolized Jeff Beck. He always said he was better than Clapton, and he was right!

Eric Clapton is good but he was overrated.
