Assistant Director pleads guilty to a lesser offense and turns states evidence. But Kyle Rittenhouse walks free.
Yeah, that's America for you.
The defense would be rigorous. Hollywood never wants to have these cases win because then they become precedent cases. Lots of people die or are hurt making movies. Just a fact. They limit their legal exposure. Just a fact. The prosecution will have a tough time of it. The defense is always that a lot of people are sort of responsible but no one is ultimately responsible. Think of Brandon Lee 1993. Think of Vic Morrow and 2 kids, 1983. The family here would be better off with a civil case to get huge damages. Easier to win. That's what Linda Lee decided when Brandon was killed by movie negligence.
