I make most of the healthy products for myself. Like freedom, farming, medicines and housing. Who really needs toxic brands anyway? The BRICS are free trading amoung themselves much better.

You'll be interested perhaps by this report out of India "Just received from a correspondent -"

There is nothing as tragic than those with functioning eyes that cannot see.

I'm remarkably unimpressed by brands, since nowadays they no longer refer to a specific producer's quality. Production is outsourced to somewhere which probably produces competing products.

Lol, I remember learning 50 years ago that Volkswagen set up a plant in South Africa to manufacture pirated VW parts.

Mmmmmm. They may not buy what we won't sell them.

That doesn't sound like a problem.

Hello old chum. What are your thoughts on "Just received from a correspondent -"?

@FrayedBear Russia and China were allies of N. Korea during th Korean war in the early 1950s. China sent large numbers of troops who's claim to fame is they charged automatic weapons in frontal attacks. Russia provided many MIG pilots.

Since then, Russia has been in decline. Hopefully Chinese generals no longer think pushing troops in front of automatic weapons is a good idea.

Whatever alliance China & Russia form would be dangerous, but not a winner.

@Alienbeing don't the Chinese have their own automatic weapons now?

Correct me if my memory is failing but didn't USA & allies depart Korea without victory leaving the Korean war stil in action?

It is equally interesting to note that nearly 70 years of ongoing CIA dirty tricks, sanctions & American hate propoganda haven't managed to quell N.Korean ambitions, self belief & prosperity.

@FrayedBear You live in a dream world and don't seem able to understand what you read.

OF COURSE the Chinese "now" have automatic weapons. They HAD automatic weapons during the Korean war also. The POINT was NOT if they had automatic weapons, the POINT was they used their troops as cannon fodder against automatic weapons. They uselessly charged against heavy fire, which caused them to have enormous losses for no reason.

As respect the end of the conflict, NO, the U.S. did not leave, we still have a significant military presence in S. Korea.

Your last paragraph is a joke.... right? N. Korea has NO prosperity, actually just the opposite.

@Alienbeing "N. Korea has NO prosperity, actually just the opposite." how typically stupid & arrogant you are in indoctrination & beliefs. I once asked a woman who constantly complained that the Australian Family Law Court deprived her of her fair share of the family wealth when she divorced her husband. She had been given her custody of the children some 25 years previously.
I therefore asked if she thought her children to be priceless. She hotly retorted "of course they are". Whereupon I closed my discussion by pointing out that she therefore got the more valuable part of the court's decision.

Perhaps alien the Koreans have obtained the better side of the bargain? . . . Freedom from American stupidity & arrogance?

@FrayedBear Obviously you are unaware of the FACT that N. Korea has continous food shortages.

When you see pictures from N. Korea, did you ever see streets with other than a VERY few vehicles using them.

PLEASE show us any indication that N. Korea is other than a VERY poor country.

@Alienbeing I see that with usual US duplicity that having engineered the collapse of the USSR which had been supplying substantial aid to N.Korea, USA did not step in to assist the struggling nation where life expectancy had been increasing until the collapse of the USSR. Usa probably increased sanctions against N.Korea in order to accelerate the loss of their life expectancy gains. I see that the following article claims a decrease of 7 years during the 1990's.
[statista.com]
Considering that US imposed sanctions against NKorea have been happening since the 1950's it is amazing it currently ranks 105 in the world longevity stakes
[worldometers.info].

Now where did you get into your brain that being very rich is directly linked to surplus food & healthy long living citizens. Surely the fact that over 70 % of the US population is overweight, obese or grossly obese suggests that the USA is a very poor nation.

@FrayedBear I see you completely avoided the discussion of N. Korea NOT being prosperous (which you said it was) and instead rambled on about how the US did not give aid to help N. Korea.

OF COURSE we don't give aid to N. Korea. In fact we sponsor sanctions against them. N. Korea is an enemy, even you should know one should not support an enemy.

Your last pargraph is plain stupid. Whether 100% of Americans or no Americans are fat is in NO WAY connected to the FACT that N. Korea is a poor, near to starving country.

@Alienbeing in your arrogance you fail to see that the greater portion of USA is now badly fed and that if NKoreans are lacking in any essentials for life it is caused by you & your ridiculous belief that the N Koreans are your enemies - they are only your enemies because of your invasion of their country and the atrocities that you have been perpetrating against them for the last 70 years.

@Alienbeing I suggest that as expected life expectancy in in NKorea is only 6 years less than that in the USA your sanctions have not been very effective and that in comparison to the USA N.Korea is very prosperous & effective in enabling life.

@FrayedBear Your suggestion is laughable. Ask anyone on Earth where they would rather live: N. Korea, or the U.S.

Let me know the results.

Your last sentence is pure bullshit.

@FrayedBear The greater portion of the U.S. is NOT "badly fed". Cite any source that says what you so absurdly state.

@Alienbeing US citizens are very badly fed if 70% of them carry more weight than is good for them.
I suggest that there are 330 million people wishing to live with the USA 's absurd conditions identifies how indifferent they are to their standard of living. That a 100+ million believe in mythical deities is even more astonishing.

@FrayedBear U.S. citizens eat poorly in many cases but that is NOT poorly fed in the context of this discussion. We have all the food we can eat. N. Koreans have MUCH less than they need.

The remainder of your reply has nothing to do witht he topic, but rant on, it is enjoyable to watch you squirm.

@Alienbeing how nonsensical your response! When did you ever see me?

How obtuse you are in failing to see that your country is the cause of any lack of food, medicine or any other necessities of life through its machinations, wars & sanctions.

As for proof I supplied it above in " I see that the following article claims a decrease of 7 years during the 1990's.
[statista.com]
Considering that US imposed sanctions against NKorea have been happening since the 1950's it is amazing it currently ranks 105 in the world longevity stakes
[worldometers.info]."

You are simply gaslighting or blind to the information put in front of you.

@FrayedBear Your mind is truly slipping away. There was nothing "nonsensical" about my reply. Not keeping one's health in mind when eating is a poor choice. However not having food to eat is not a choice. N. Korea frequently has wide spread food shortages. The U.S. has no food shortages. That simple difference is either too complicated for you to grasp, or you simply wish to obfuscate the issue.

You are simply a communist shill, although you probably don't realize that N. Korea really has no political philosophy but is simply a family dictatorship.

@Alienbeing Why do you refuse to accept that US sanctions are the cause of N. Korean food shortages?

@FrayedBear I never said I refused to accept anything. I suspect our sanctions have contributed to food shortages in N. Korea. However the MAIN reason for food shortages is the N. Korean "government".

You are the last persosn who should complain Anyone who tries to equate overating or poor eating habits with a lack of food is either very dumb, or wants to obfuscate the issue.

@Alienbeing I think that you are the one drawing the the link between lack of food & bad habits. I'm drawing your attention to the fact that the latter may be worse than starvation but you are blinded by your hamburgers, greasy chicken, cheese & fat sausage.

@FrayedBear Your very poor attempt to clean up prior remarks is noted. Just to recap what I said.... "poor eating habits do not equal lack of food". I also not that in yesterday's Wall Street Journal there is an article noting that N. Korea is CURRENTLY facing the worst food shortages in decades, with many literally starving to death.

Now to comment on your absurd last sentence. NO ONE would rather starve to death than be fat. Last, I am not blinded by aything I said many times overeating or poor eating is bad. I personally wtch my diet very well. I am six feet tall and weigh 188 pounds. That is a very good weight for my height. Additionally, I job at least 2 miles everyday.

Don't worry about my health. My doctor says I enjoy very good health.

@Alienbeing Does Job complain?

@FrayedBear I don't know Job, so I can't reply. What the hell are you referring to?

@Alienbeing @Alienbeing **Yes well done on your weight. According to Bupa you are at the upper end of the range of the ideal weights for your height. With healthy organs you should have a long future in front of you. I'm not sure about the soundness of your brain though but still wish you a healthy, peaceful & fulfilling remaining life. Just try not to be #stupid please.

@Alienbeing Lol. I refer you to your last response which I have taken the time & effort to photograph then annotate the reproduction to highlight the word that you used. You should proof read what you publish Alien otherwise we will all assume that age has caught up with you & you have devolved into a gibbering imbecile instead of just an aging lonely egoistic American!

@FrayedBear Far from lonely. Wife, son, his wife and grandson keep me busy.

The reminder of yourreply makes no sense, so ask your nurse to correct it for you.

@Alienbeing you are still unfortunately gibbering. Can your son explain it to you or is he a chip off the old block?

@FrayedBear What SPECFICALLY is "gibberish? in my last reply?

You make less sese with each of your posts or replies, and that is hard to do as you started off nonsensical.

Russia was such a tiny market for Western goods, I'd say Good riddance to our former Russian customers. The sooner we disentangle these two spheres the better

Lol even LMAO. The US has been busy Americanising Russia since about 1900!

So you are fine not being able to buy fertilisers, oil and gas based chemical products which go into plastics, and behold , medicines, rare earths for communications, building products and agricultural technologies, useables and produce?? Good on you cut off bilateral trade . Excellent , now figure out how you are going to live with the standards of living like we had to 200 years ago! Russia and China are the worlds industrial powerhouses. They can get along quite well without America, but can America get along without them?? Please let us know, oh sorry you won"t have the replacement parts for your communications technologies. Hmmm, enjoy the fruits of the seeds you sow now.

@Kurtn In your dreams. Having natural resources could be beneficial, but when a country is poorly run the resources just sit there
