@Garban The Russian economy is doing just fine, especially in comparison to Ukraine's economy. The eastern third of Ukraine on the map, what this whole war was about, is firmly under Russian control. Russia wins. And since the people living there are Russian and never wanted to be part of Ukraine in the first place, all good. Since NATO has utterly failed to get the rest of the world on board with this war, not sure how that is strengthening NATO. His military is doing just fine, he's accomplished this with second stringers. This is so similar to Vietnam, our government has provoked a stupid colonial war, and is lying through its teeth to promote it.

If Putin had achieved his objectives the war would effectively be over. And it is ludicrous to claim Biden And Zelenenski just want to keep Ukrainians dying. Obviously Putin has larger goals than just a part of Ukraine. Europe and the world are foolish to let Putin slow walk them into a conflict of choice. What they should do is stop claiming to just provide support and weapons. They should use all means to crush Putin's forces. And if he plays the nuclear card, well we'll wipe Moscow off the map. This may be one of those times you have to cut off a limb to save the rest of Europe. Putin will not stop at just Ukraine!
