If there were a god--especially the Judeo/Xtian/Islamic god--would this not be evident to all humans? And the idea that Satan "closes" our eyes is not worth arguing.

@Gwendolyn2018 The contrarian in you seems to have ignored the many non-Abrahamic religions. In the World Religions book I read decades ago, only Tantra differed.
Nothing that is written in an unfamiliar language is evident to anyone who can't read it.
But native speakers can. And about 84% of H.sapiens are native speakers.
