Looks intimidating to me. But I lived through two bad blizzards in high school. That was enough for me. A week of no contact with anyone other than my mother who was in the house with me and she was in a cast from a broken ankle. No power, but we were fortunate to have a fireplace. The whole wall with that was sandstone. It kept the heat in and radiated off into the room we stayed in. I had to do all the wood supplying including splitting it. I was glad to go back to school afterwards.
Gorgeous. Is that in North Cascades National Park? (yeah, I'm txtreehugger but I'm PNW born and bred.)
It's near Leavenworth, WA. Michael took this photo at Bridge Creek. There's a Bridge Creek road and campground. Both are closed due to heavy snow. I assume Michael snowshoed in.
Enchantment Mountains.
Gorgeous photo! My sister told me they have been getting intermittent snow and hail in Ukiah. Going to be a lot of snow pack in the pacific northwest. Hope it helps with the drought.
