Might alleviate the need for furniture in a small apartment... Not sure how one would use the restroom, or even get through the bathroom door, but I guess it could have it's uses. Style? Well, maybe for Halloween here in America. It's not slimming enough to take off here, we're all trying to seem thinner!

Might make driving a mite dicey....

I imagine driving in Japan is already a bit dicey. Maybe it's a way of gaining some space on the public transportation networks.
