I just lost 200+ points for marking a past post anonymous? Adm. corrected my dumb mistake.
I didn't know that would be the result, I just wanted to stop people from flaming me about it, some were really nasty. How can I recover the post? Crisis over , points reinstalled.

It could be the past post had lots of comments, and all the points for those comments no longer belong to your account.
To stop nasty people from flaming you just block them. I will block anyone who accuses me of lying, or is very unpleasant, but not just for disagreeing with me.

Yes but there was no warning of losing points before going with the change to anonymous.
@LetzGetReal Adm is going to add text to the anonymous button. Problem solved.
