Natural hair waves
"Will you cut my hair so the natural waves show?" I asked hairstylist Lori Lindsay today. "I'm tired of pulling it back into a ponytail."
As I brushed my hair, it settled into deep waves. Much better.
I can still pull it back.

It looks great! My sister and I have always had stubbornly straight hair but not the nice, sleek kind. She underwent chemotherapy about ten years ago and her hair has since been decidedly, beautifully curly. She just decided she has given her latest stylist enough time to figure it out (it's been about six months) because she just doesn't understand curly hair and it shows. It's definitely a niche skill. I'm more than a tad envious of both of you.

Yes, I tipped the hairstylist. Today I brought her fresh, homemade almond butter cookies, 65 calories each. Recipe by Cooking Light.
