Hell-o! Religion in general has always kind of fascinated me. How can what is essentially a hive mentality affect so many? Why are the religious so quick to discount any other point of view, idea, or sometimes proven scientific fact that may be detrimental to their own point of view? I've always believed in "to each his own", but I've seen so many situations where preachers, pastors, priests and politicians will play on that religious fear to further their own ends. What do you guys think?
