In case you ever want to make your own Festivus Pole, there's an Instrucables for that. If anyone actually does this, I would love to see a picture. (I'm tempted to make one. looks easy)

I recently saw on the web a Festivus pole made from aluminum beverage cans. 😛

I have one made from an old floor lamp! Let the airing of grievances begin!

I don't even know what that is.... lol

It's from the TV show Seinfeld. Jerry's friend's father made this holiday up for people who don't want to bother with the standard end-of-year holidays. Christmas for Christians, Hanukkah for Jews, Festivus for the "rest of us". It includes a raising of the Festivus pole, accompanied by the airing of grievances (against those closest to you). A classic episode, if you liked the series.

I'm airing the grievance that this comment made me feel old.

Remember that episode, eh? I liked when Kramer joined in on it...

@Kimberlydale79 lol

Just in time for the holidays, thanks!
