NOPE. We need a whole lot more outrage. That is the only way you get attention. Look at the far right. They are the squeaky wheel.

I feel like this is our biggest challenge, as people, is to talk to each other rather than yelling till the other person gets quiet

We humans are a sensitive bunch. But consider the species still in their infancy, we can still grow and learn. We're getting there.
