A green anole outside my apartment. Even though they're very common and actually invasive where I live, they've become my favorite reptile species. I love watching them dart away when I walk outside my door.

I am surprised that you braved the ever fierce dewlap display to get the pictures! (;

Not being nosy, but where do you live
I lived in Florida for years and those have been nearly eradicated by the introduced Brown Anole.
Is the Green Anole introduced to your locale?

I live in Hawaii. We have green and brown anoles. Both are pretty common and both were introduced.

@Islandgurl
Brown Anoles and Cuban Knight Anoles are a real problem. The latter grows to a foot and a half long and eats anything.
They also have a battery of other introduced reptile woes, including Curly Tail Lizards, iguanas, Tegus, pythons and even Monitors. It's a mess down there.

@Leafhead I KNEW I should have posted about this! I just attended a reptile convention in Atlanta. The vendors were selling almost exclusively pythons and boas! I saw one king snake, one milk snake, and one vendor (of dozens) had hoggies. The place was PACKED solid with people. Just what the SE US does NOT need, a gazillion more constrictor pets that grow too large for most to keep...

They probably eat a large number of insects, misquitos would be nice, anything that bites, tics and fleas.
