Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Almost looks like a one of those brain altering fungi. Supposedly it makes a mouse attracted to cat urine to increase its chances of being eaten by a cat, where it'll complete the next stage in a cat's stomach.

@Besalbub There's lots of species of them, but I don't know how many affect mice. One that alters an ant's brain to cause it to find a high point in the colony, where it bursts out of its head and spreads its spore. One that makes crickets drown themselves. A lot of brain altering baddies out there, fungi and bacteria.
@Besalbub I was mistaken though, it's a parasite that alters the brain of a mouse. The "zombie" fungi typically affect insects.
