My little rescue butterfly went to the big flower in the sky on Wednesday. I had contacted a butterfly expert, and he said that species usually only lives two weeks, maybe three in captivity. This guy lived 3 weeks and 2 days! And who knows how long he was alive before I found him! Pretty amazing. This is the last picture I took of him. Poor guy fell in some honey I was trying to give him and made a big mess of himself. His wings had been slowly falling apart the last week I had him.
