It’s a garter snake. Pretty sure it’s a red sided garter but I didn’t do a scale count. And I love all creepy crawlers.
@TrevorDawson Garter snakes around here (east TN) are green, at least the ones I know. It's a beautiful snake, nonetheless.
I love that almost every snake photo has them mid-smelling with tongues out! The first one is especially adorable!

Is that last one a juvenile black rat snake? I see adults all the time but never their young.

The patterning and head structure is all off to be a black rat.
