Our female cat likes to sit on my lap and be stroked. I am the opposite of being able to multi task, and while stroking the cat, even though i don't move or change stroking, if my attention focuses elsewhere, i will immediately be bitten or scratched and she will stalk off in a huff. The dog will then come over and commiserate.
The dog will also try to stop the female cat from picking on the tom. This rarely works out well for the dog - a blue heeler.
I have windows open this evening as it was a warm day. Because there is a cold front moving in it is quite breezy. The kitties are having a field day looking out the windows and chasing each other from room to room. It is now chilly enough I should close the windows, but that would shut down my entertainment!

Posted by LaurenI thought this was an accurate representation of how we feel every time we remember our last cat, which happens often when my daughter and I laugh over our current cat's antics.
