My neighbor, who works insane hours, asked me to keep an eye on his house and particularly his 16 year old son, who just got a car. I sent the son this. He now waves at the cats when they're looking out the windows.

I woof back at dogs barking out windows when I am out on my walks. It usually pisses them off 
I rarely see cats or old folks. I think the old folks are like me not close enough to the window that you can see us, but we can see you!
