My 22-lb dog leapt from the arm of the sofa to the top of the 4.5' tall cabinet about 5' away, apparently after a fly, knocking a signed lithograph hanging above worth about $2500 off 2 hangars & ruining it, broken glass everywhere, especially where the adjoining clay pot fell on the frame/glass...no blood, no fly. Cats got nuthin' on her!
Last week Nala was parading around when I finally noticed she was carrying something in her mouth. Reached down to see...it was a tiny mouse! Surprisingly it wasn't harmed, almost like she was carrying it like it was a baby kitten. I thought if the little guy can survive that he deserved to live, so I tossed him outside next to the garage.
My deceased cat, Lola, used to kill flies efficiently and without any mess. I never used a flyswatter for years. My cats now don’t chase or kill. One ignores them and the other follows them around the house crying until I get out the swatter and kill them.
