Make sure they are licensed and insured. It's important in case anything gets damaged during the move. Read reviews from other customers. It will give you an idea of what to expect from the company. Ask if the company offers any discounts. Some companies offer discounts for seniors, students, or military members. I had to move when I went to College, and thankfully with furniture movers in calgary alberta (https://calgarymoverspro.ca), I haven't got any fuss with this process.
