Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.My older house inevitably got a boarder or 2 every Fall....but not since i got Sassy, the amazing Cat-Dog....she enjoys finding the outdoor nests & snacking....she's a 22 lb. shorthaired mix dog, and the best mouser Ever....i have been here over 42 years, only since getting her have i had 2 mouseless Falls!

Back when I was renting a farm house my cat caught a field mouse. She came and laid it on my pillow as I was waking up. Lucky me, the gift was not only fresh, but still quite alive. Not sure who jump up fastest, me or the mouse, but I guarantee I screamed the loudest.
