The cats laying around after OD'ing is funny... They look like stoned humans.
I've tried dried and fresh on 2 cats, annnnnnd...nothing, they couldn't care less.

@TomMcGiverin What's notable is that the catnip does not directly cause the intoxication, but rather the endorphins released by the cat's nasal passages. It would be nice if we had a corresponding system, but we haven't come across it if so.
I planted catnip one year in pots on my deck. I pick a few leaves from time to time for my kitty girls. Catnip is a member of the mint family, and very agressive at spreading. I've never had to replant, and quite often have to pull it up out of my yard...
