My husband comes in through the basement door after he's been out, & the ritual is......he has to chase Kiri down the hall several times, & then give her some petting. If he doesn't follow the rules, or do it long enough, she will yell & holler as loud as possible, until he does.
He also has to pick Purrin up for petting, & if he doesn't, she will have her little tantrum by slamming cupboard doors for 10 minutes or so.

When I first had Xena she'd greet me at the door when I came in and I'd pick her up and cuddle. Now I have Zelda also, and they come see me, but Xena acts coy about being picked up. I'm not going to chase her down, but I do miss my cuddles.
